The Surplus Shop provides an opportunity for current IU Health employees to browse the furniture items that are available for redistribution back to areas of the hospital where you need them. Last year, Furniture Management Solutions saved IU Health approximately $1,219,192 by redistributing and reconditioning current assets instead of buying new.
The components available in the Surplus Shop include items that are no longer needed in their original location, but still have life-cycle value that may benefit another department or area of the hospital.
The surplus shop is open weekdays from 8:30am to 1:30pm. The available items range from used task chairs, office furniture, file cabinets, cubicles and wall art.
Note that the condition of the furniture on this website will vary, and the pictures may not provide a complete scope of the condition. Please schedule an appointment with an FMS representative to get an accurate overview of each piece of furniture.
